soaring, flying...i can't believe it. i got an email about 10 minutes ago. it goes a little something like this...
"Congratulations!
You have been chosen to be part of BlueRepertory's first Asian staging of Disney's High School Musical!
The shows will be on February 23, 2007 at 8pm; February 24, 2007 at 3pm and 8pm; February 25 at 10am and 3pm at the SM Megamall Cinema 4 Theatre.
Rehearsals begin on the Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Music Room, 3rd Floor of the Gonzaga Building in the Ateneo de Manila University (where you taught the music during call backs).
A more detailed rehearsal schedule will be given to the cast the same day. Please be reminded that joining this production is strictly voluntary and that there will be no talent fee as it is organized by Ateneo Blue Repertory.
Do not forget to come in on time and bring a recorder on Saturday for the first day of music rehearsals.

i really thought i had no chance. it's my first ever endeavour in theater. no formal acting experience. no formal voice training. no formal dance training. what did i have to offer? plus... i'm super old! but to my surprise they gave me a shot! yipee...
i don't think they're gonna give me any major role just yet. first timer and all. but i don't care what role i get... i'll be happy with anything.
